01Air ambulance and medevac flights

Medevac flights are often confirmed within hours of departure. Many civil aviation authorities expedite permits for ambulance flights when the request makes the medical nature of the flight clear. We file overflight and landing permits immediately, arrange handling with ambulance access to the aircraft, and coordinate fuel and crew rest so the aircraft can turn around without delay.

02VIP and head-of-state flights

State and government aircraft need diplomatic clearances, requested through embassies and foreign ministries, not civil permits. We prepare the requests, coordinate with the embassies involved, and arrange VIP handling, security and protocol at each airport, with the confidentiality these flights require.

03Humanitarian and relief flights

Relief flights often go to airports with damaged infrastructure, limited fuel or restricted airspace. We check the current NOTAMs and conflict-zone advice, arrange permits and handling, confirm fuel availability or plan tankering, and coordinate with the agencies receiving the cargo.

As with every request, we screen relief flights against applicable sanctions rules before arranging any service.

04How we handle special flights

Special flights get the same process as every other trip, run at the speed they need:

• One dispatcher owns the trip file from the first call to block-on.
• Permits and clearances are filed as soon as the routing is known, and chased outside the authority's office hours where it has a duty office.
• Handling, fuel, crew hotels and ground transport are confirmed at every stop.
• The flight is monitored throughout, with re-planning if anything changes.
